The Blue Pearl is a small, beautifully bound volume of Essi Daven's collected ballads.[1]

During her stay at the Temple of Melitele in 1267, under the tutelage of Yennefer, Ciri became quite a voracious reader and this was one of her favorite books.[1]

Notes[]

  • The name of the book comes from the blue pearl that Dandelion, pretending it was from Geralt, gave to Essi for her birthday. Geralt and Essi decided to use it as a pendant for a silver flower necklace that she wore to the end of her days. When she died, she was buried with it and her lute.
