Whales are enormous waterbound creatures living in seas. They are feared but also hunted by Skelligers. Bones from them are used to build huts in case of the unavailability of wood, as well as exquisite bows.[1] Whales are also featured in legends of islanders: for example, Broddr, heroic founder of Clan Dimun, was said to be eaten by a whale.
