Vizimir was married to
Hedwig of Malleore, with whom he had three children: son Radovid and daughters Dalimira (called Dalka) and Milena (called Milka).
He wished to join the royal families of Redania and

sorceress Philippa Eilhart was an adviser in Vizimir's court, and not only held her position but also bolstered it in the years following Vizimir's demise.
In Michael Kandel's translation of The Witcher (for the A Book of Polish Monsters anthology), Vizimir was known both as Cuthbond and Glothur.
Vizimir II the Just was most likely inspired after Casimir II the Just, who was the High Duke of Poland and Duke of Masovia in 12th century.
