This farm is located just east of White Orchard village and belonged to the Vildenvert family in 1272, whose last living members were Dune and his brother Bastien.
When the Third Northern War started however, Bastien enlisted in the Temerian Army, leaving the farm only to Dune and his wife, Liesje, as Dune had cut off some of his fingers to avoid being drafted.
If Geralt defends Rhosyn during Missing in Action: after Bastien went missing in the Battle of White Orchard, Geralt helped Dune and the family dog Hussar to find his brother, along with a Nilfgaardian soldier, Rhosyn. The witcher convinced the brothers to allow Rhosyn to disguise himself and live at their farm.
