At the Live streaming video conference happened on January 26, CD Projekt announced the release of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for Xbox 360, available worldwide on April 17, 2012. Pre ordering is already available with lots of bonus content.
The Witcher 2 Xboz 360 version will be out in two editions: Enhanced Edition and Dark Edition.
The Enhanced Edition is the basic and cheapest box. It will contain 2 DVDs of the game, the official soundtrack music CD, the "Making Of" DVD, game manual book and questguide book and a few other things. The Dark Edition is the richest and the most expensive: together with the 3 DVDs, the game manual and guide books and the muci CD already mentioned, it will contain a lot of bonus content, like a new revamped version of the Artbook (+40 pages) and the most wanted Wolf Witcher medallion necklace.

The Xbox 360 version also will contain more features compared to the latest PC version, in addition to the Dark Mode and the Arena. All this additional content will be available as DLC in The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition for PC gamers as well, provided that they already have a legal copy of the game (digital or retail box). TW2 Enhanced Edition (PC) can be downloaded for free from the release date April 17, 2012.
Below a short summary of the exclusive content included in the Xbox 360 version of EE, DE and EE for PC:
- The main plot and the game will remain the same, unchanged from the original version
- A new camera system
- A new targeting system
- An improved UI
- Character panel screen will be improved
- A new 3.5 minutes intro
- 33 minutes more of cinematic and movies
- 4 more hours of gameplay, two new missions or adventures (in Act III)
