There have been two series of comic books based on Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher series. The original series in 1993-1995 and a new one in 2011.

Original seriesEdit

A 6-issue series of The Witcher (Polish: Wiedźmin) comic books (graphic novels) based on Andrzej Sapkowski's witcher short stories was published in Poland in the years 1993-1995, written by Maciej Parowski and illustrated by Bogusław Polch.

New seriesEdit

Racja stanu Geralt

Geralt in Racja stanu

A new series of comic books, not based on any of the novels or short stories but containing new adventures of Geralt, was released in 2011, written by Michał Gałek, illustrated by Arkadiusz Klimek and colorized by Łukasz Poller. The depiction of Geralt in the comic is based on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings video game and it's authorized by CD Projekt. It is not related to any of the previous comics. Later CD Projekt started work with Dark Horse and make two new comics.

Novel-based seriesEdit

A new series covering the events of novel series was to be written by Maciej Parowski and illustrated originally by Przemysław Truściński (who also created concept art for The Witcher computer game), and later by Marek Oleksicki. This series was apparently canceled.
