Sheep are animals found on farms and pastures in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. They are often accompanied by shepherds and guard dogs.
They behave quite different from cows and pigs, escaping from the player even if not attacked. Loot can be an old sheepskin or raw meat. Some innkeepers sell mutton stew and mutton legs, but these cannot be obtained from killing sheep, just purchased.

- A small group of immortal sheep can be found next to a guarded treasure and cyclops northeast of Heatherton. Kept inside a fenced area, they're impossible to kill or interact with.

- The immortal sheep near the cyclops in Velen may be a reference to Polyphemus from the Greek epic poem, Odyssey.
