Scala is a fortress in Lyria, located on the border just north of the Yaruga river from Dol Angra.[1]

Sometime between July 2nd and 4th 1267, during the first three days of the Second Northern War, the Nilfgaardian Army besieged and took control of Scala and its twin fortress, Spalla, in order to cross the border into Lyria and Rivia.[1]
