Peace Disturbed is one of the secondary quests available in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
At the end of the road stemming from the road going from Crossroads to Kaer Trolde at northwestern Ard Skellig, Geralt found two women preparing to go into a crypt on the side of a hill jutting out the mountainside to cut the nails of the dead in order to stop wraiths from using it to build their cursed longship from the legend of Ragh nar Roog. Since they were being hindered by the ghosts guarding the crypt, they asked the witcher to tend to them.
If the witcher accepts, he must delve into the catacombs and rid the place of all the wraiths he finds in each of the rooms and levels of the crypt while looting some grave goods along the way. After clearing the last nightwraith in the lowest level, he can find a relic sword, Daystar, in a dead body and use Aard on a caved in wall and discover a formerly inaccessible part of the crypt that eventually exits out the other side of the hill into a forest near the road entering Kaer Trolde Harbor.
Geralt can then report back to the women outside the crypt's entrance and they'll thank the witcher for his trouble, offering to make a sacrifice to Freya in his name. The quest ends as they leave to enter the crypt and inspect the dead (50).
Journal Entry Edit
- Geralt was surprised to find a group of women hanging around outside the entrance to a crypt on the isle of Ard Skellig - but not as surprised as they were to see a witcher. The women explained they had come to clip the nails of the dead, thus depriving wraiths of shipbuilding material. Though wary Geralt might take advantage to the opportunity to loot some grave goods, they asked him to drive off the ghosts keeping them from entering the crypt.
- Geralt knew the women's actions would do little to keep the Naglfar at bay, but still did as they asked and cleared the crypt of ghosts.
- Enter the tomb.
- Kill the monsters on the lower level of the tomb.
- Talk to the woman waiting outside.
