Osmyk was a pirate and bandit captain and after monopolizing sea trade in the area, he declared himself a first king of the Kingdom of Kerack and the father of Belohun. This, for the most part, simply formalized the status quo, so there were no major protests. Other than Belohun, Osmyk had four other sons, but all of them renounced the right to the throne of Kerack. Reportedly, one of them even did so willingly.
In the middle of Kerack there is a statue of Osmyk as the "founder" of the city, even though it existed long before he was born.
