The Nilfgaardian Garrison is location in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Once it was fortification used by Temerians to guard the river Ismena and strategic road to Vizima, but it fell to Nilfgaardians after their victory at the battle of White Orchard that occurred between the Cackler Bridge and Crossroads. It now serves to the commanding officer, captain Peter Saar Gwynleve, as headquarter for his troops in region.
Number of soldiers stationed there is about 40 with medics counted to that. Even though the reason of the castle's' ruin is currently unknown, there can be two assumptions. Either it was caused by erosion and negligence, or it was destroyed by catapults, even trebuchet. However, the latter seems unlikely since it is surrounded by swamp, unfavorable terain for siege engines to operate on.
Map description Edit
