New Vizima

New Vizima is the part of Vizima which includes:

• Temple Quarter
• Trade Quarter
• Royal Quarter, which is off-limits for the duration of the game

It is served by several gates:

• Gate to New Vizima, the main gate, providing access to and from the port.
• Maribor Gate, locked for the duration of the game, but technically providing access to the Outskirts
• Miller's Gate, locked except in at the end of Act I, briefly, but technically providing access to the Outskirts
• Merchants' Gate, locked for the duration of the game, but technically providing access to the Outskirts
• Gate to the Royal Quarter, also locked for the duration of the game

It was built as a modern replacement to the thatch and wooden plank buildings of Old Vizima.
