Never Trust Children is an unmarked quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It does not appear in the quest log. This quest has two parts where one takes place in Novigrad while the other in Skellige.
Summary
In Novigrad:
Next to the Crooked House in The Bits, Geralt came across a child crying. When Geralt approached the child, he ran off to a group of bandits. To the witcher's surprise, he had been lured into a trap. Four bandits will proceed to assault Geralt. After dealing with the bandits, the child will be nowhere to be found and thus ends the quest.
In Skellige:
While travelling the road between Arinbjorn and Sund, another child was seen by the witcher calling out for help. The boy tells Geralt to follow him after mentioning that his father was attacked by a bear while cutting wood. The boy walks to the side of the road near some bushes and runs away as a bandit with a couple of thugs come out in ambush from the bushes. After dealing with the bandits, the child will be nowhere to be found yet again and thus ends the quest.
