In The Witcher series, there are many miliary units of varying kinds and each one has a "pecking order". Here is a list of the descriptions of ranks we do have:

Officers:

• Field Marshal
• General
• Major General
• Lieutenant General
• Colonel
• Lieutenant Colonel
• Captain (sea captains are the equivalent of army colonels, but army captains are not as high-ranking)
• Lieutenant

Enlisted men:

• Centurion
• Lance-Corporal
