Hi Smiki, saw that you uploaded CoA and Flag for Magne, I really like them and I'd like to create an article (if you don’t want to create it yourself of course) but is it sure that it’s actually a land? Because Magne sounds me a lot like Latin, and may be translated as "Great Division".
I'm going to disagree :p But only to keep it consistent: in games (which is the only known example we have right now as it was never described in the books) it's red, and I value the main games over gwent information. Also, I believe the reason it was made purple in gwent was only because CDPR realized they hit a design problem: Monsters deck was already red and didn't want people accidentally selecting the wrong deck if they also made Skellige red, thus the purple.
Hi, Juraj pointed out that you'd been researching the family trees so I wanted to know if you could help look over a template I've been working on as I'm not very familiar with them (and only went by what was on the wiki).
As far I look, it seems that the only mistake is an assumption that Aideen is daughter of Benda (it was said in the novel that her father was a Kaedweni King, but without mentioning his name). The rest of the template is correct, very good job! :)
Hi Smiki, so we've run into some complications where we don't see where Viviana is actually mentioned as being Ceran and Impecca's daughter. You can see thread started here with one user to discuss it and would like your input.
1. I know that you barely have time to edit Curse wiki but could you at least upload your works here? Just that, please :)
2. I like COA by Mboro and you but shouldn't we use only the COAs described in official sources? You know what I mean. We do not allow adding fan-fiction characters and I think we should do so with heraldry.
2. Neither I was sure how to do with them. Admins of the Polish Wikia have decided to use unofficial arms, Gamepedia team is also ok with them, but on your Wiki you are free to decide. I plan to make an album describing various heraldic traditions of the Continent and send it to CDPR or Cody, if they approve it we could use the COAs safely.
1. Admins of the Polish Wikia have asked me to send the COAs after I finish recreating all of them, in order to avoid an inconsistency of using Mboro's and mine heraldry at the same time. If you don't want to wait, feel free to download them and upload on your Wiki :)
It is not by fans. I found all this info in the Russian Witcher wiki. They have much more information about it. They have grammar, syntax, persons, all of which I would also add later to expand the ELDER SPEECH page. http://wiedzmin.mybb.ru/viewtopic.php?id=51
As far as I know the source is true information gathered and collected by Russian Witcher fans. Perhaps old sites and small works, this and that... things that did not see much publicity but still are authentic. Since I am not good at Russian it will be difficult to prove to you that it is all authentic, with signatures and whatever else you require. So do what you wish. But in my opinion it is true. I only wished to expand the page because I love The Witcher and the Elder Speech interests me very much as I also love Elvish languages.
But I understand you now. Sorry. I never used wiki before seriously. First timer here, made my account today. I understand what you mean- every information needs to be proven as official as possible so there is no chance of it being some fan fiction.
Indeed :) Wikis gather informations from works of Andrzej Sapkowski (stories, interviews and notes published on his Polish site) and those of their adaptations, which are official. It means contracted with Mr. Andrzej (Polch's comic books, CD Projekt's works, movie and TV series, A Game of Imagination RPG, forthcoming Baginski's movie) or at least contracted with these contractors (Dark Horse comic books, forthcoming Talsorian Games RPG). Witcher-related websites are not official.
What can you do, instead of putting this info in the article, is collecting it on your profile or sandbox page. I have my own one on the other wiki and use it for the unfinished parts of articles and my personal view on the Elder Speech pronunciation.
Hi,could you tell me is it possible to create a map using only the witcher books?
i mean if the game didn't come out and we didn't have the CD Project red's map?
How do you think is it possible?I saw the czech interpreter did it 'fore the game came out and Sapkowsky approved that map.Has the book got all it detailed so we can depict the map taking all only from the book?
Hello its me George again with some question. I saw what you did on deity infobox (gamepedia), i mean that Mentioned in and than colapse - expanded. Could you do similar thing here but on character infobox. Please :)
