Laurelnose is an apothecary and member of the town council in Rinde with his eyes set on the office of the mayor. Laurelnose's opinions about the state of the sorceress Yennefer's virtue earned him a public spanking, which severely damaged Laurelnose's plans for the future. Mr Laurelnose featured in the short story "The Last Wish".
