Human

Humans are the major race in both the Northern Kingdoms and the Nilfgaard Empire. When they came to the Continent, they conquered the lands of the elves. Because both races can easily interbreed, most humans nowadays have had some elven ancestors.

By contrast, elves, dwarves, gnomes and halflings are considered to be non-humans.
