Emreis - The Nilfgaardian noble house ruling the Nilfgaard Empire. It has ties to the House of Voorhis, House of Raven and probably Jan Calveit and it is also possible that it had ties with the family of the Usurper.
Fergus was the First Emperor to contact the Northern Realms, and was eventually overthrown by the Usurper.
The son of Fergus and his successor to the Throne of the Nilfgaardian Empire. He led several wars against the Northern Realms, and depending on the ending, can win the wars and conquer the known world, or end up assassinated upon losing said war. His successor was Morvran Voorhis in some circumstances, otherwise his daughter Ciri took the throne. The consort of Emhyr var Emreis and thus Queen of Cintra and Empress of Nilfgaard.
The daughter of Emhyr. She can ascend to the throne and become Empress if Geralt takes her to see her father when prompted, where he offers her the throne, and encourages her to believe in herself in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It is likely inevitably she marries Morvran, but then, this is Empress Ciri so it is uncertain.
