Griffin was the king of Temeria and the son of King Cedric and Queen Berengaria. He married Clarissa and they had one child: a daughter named Bienvenu who succeeded her father when Griffin suddenly died of a heart attack at the age of 41.
He was known for his major reforms which included plans to reorganize the army, administration, education, commerce, industry, in a word, everything. He actually managed to carry out very little of that, however he did make educational reforms.
History[]
He founded the town of Toderas in Velen, and hoped the town would become a city similar to Oxenfurt, though his efforts failed.[1]
During his reign, he conformed the cleric's ranks, angry at their preaching of nonsense. Those who stayed studied books, instilled knowledge in children, treated the sick, poor, homeless, and handicapped.[2]
