Throwing the first fight, then fighting Georgius again and winning will result in a maximum of 240 crowns won, vs the mere 80 you win if you defeat Georgius in the first fight.

Notes Edit

  • When The Tailor first approaches Geralt while he is speaking with the bookie, the Tailor says to Geralt, "You've been weighed, you've been measured, and you've been found scrawny. In what world could you possibly defeat me?" This is a variation of the speech that Count Adhemar gives William (Heath Ledger) in the film A Knight's Tale. When William is caught impersonating a knight and is imprisoned, Count Adhemar is enraged that a peasant has been winning in the jousts against him and takes the opportunity to take a few hits at William while he is imprisoned. Adhemar tells him as he punches, "He that strives to touch a star oft stumbles at a simple straw. You have been weighed. You have been measured. And you have been found wanting. One loss or another....William.... in what world could you ever have beaten me?" Towards the end of the movie, William's crew says the "you have been weighed.....wanting" to Adhemar, with William adding with a smile, "Welcome to the new world."
  • It is also revealed after defeating Captain Mortimer that the Tailor's name is Durden, which is a reference to the character of Tyler Durden, portrayed by Brad Pitt in the film "Fight Club".
