A monster ear is a crafting component in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that is needed to craft Manticore armor.
It is a low chance random drop from many monsters (specters, elementa and insectoids are notable exceptions), drowner monster nests, and white bears. In the Blood and Wine expansion, it can also be dismantled from wight ear.
