Magic gold is a junk item in the Blood and Wine expansion that can only be found in the Land of a Thousand Fables, in Grand Mamma's house (next to the Big Bad Wolf) and in the Donkey's stables.
It can only be sold to the Little Flint Girl for 10 
each. Once Geralt leaves the illusion, it will disappear from his inventory.
