Crystal skull is a quest item in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
It is the crystallized skull of Yennefer's magic kestrel, which accompanied the sorceress during her flight across the battlefield of White Orchard.
After defeating the ghouls with Vesemir at the start of the quest Lilac and Gooseberries, Geralt can pick up the skull near where the witchers made camp for the night. He comments that it was most likely left behind by Yennefer. Picking it up grants 50
. If it is not picked up, the skull disappears from the ground after completion of the quest The Beast of White Orchard.
The skull can later be given to Yennefer after completing the secondary quest The Last Wish. To do this, Geralt must speak to Yennefer at her room in The New Port before leaving, as once the room is left she teleports away too. The next and last opportunity to give the skull to Yennefer is during Battle Preparations, as once that quest completes and the ship sails to Skellige, she can no longer be talked to outside of scripted events. Giving Yennefer the skull grants 50.
