Brothers In Arms: Novigrad is a main quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Walkthrough[]
Triss, as a main character, will appear at Kaer Morhen no matter what you do. However, she will want your help with Now or Never and it's recommended that you do that. If you already completed her questline, she will already be checked on the list, otherwise you get red marks and at Kaer Morhen she will say that Geralt has Yennefer to thank for recruiting her.
Zoltan Chivay will similarly always agree and only needs to be asked. He will provide services as an armorer at Kaer Morhen, though only at an Amateur skill level and thus probably only useful for repairs. Important: if A Dangerous Game isn't completed before you ask Zoltan for help, it will fail as soon as you do - he departs immediately and will not ask for optional help.
Sigismund Dijkstra will not join for the battle. However, if you managed to get information about his treasure from Caleb Menge during Count Reuven's Treasure, he will agree to give you a "fat purse" and you will receive 50
/ 1,000 
, Greater Devana runestone, Greater Stribog runestone and Diagram: Tracker's gauntlets.
Vernon Roche will join only if you do (or already have completed) An Eye for an Eye and only if Ves survives the quest. She will follow Roche on his way to Kaer Morhen and also joins the battle. If you already did the quest, just talk to him.
After asking everyone for help the quest ends.
Journal entry[]
- A direct fight against Eredin and the Wild Hunt had become inevitable, and Geralt knew he could never defeat them alone. He thus decided to seek out allies – and his first steps took him to Novigrad.
- Geralt's conversations with friends and acquaintances had mixed results. Geralt hoped the support he had secured would be enough to defeat the Wild Hunt. There was no other option.

- Talk to Zoltan.
- Talk to Roche.
- Talk to Dijkstra.
- Talk to Triss.
- Help Triss finish what she has to do in Novigrad.
- Help Roche with his problem concerning Ves.
Bugs[]
- If you talk to Roche but end the convesation without asking for help, the quest may update without receiving his help and the option to ask for it will be gone, so be sure to do it as soon as the option appears.
Trivia[]
- When recruiting Zoltan, he will say, "You'll have me, and my axe!" This is a reference to the Lord of the Rings where Gimli says, "...and my axe!" during the formation of the Fellowship of the Ring.
