Gottard is peasant living in village Yantra on the east side of the lake, northeast of Novigrad. When leader of bandits known as Little Red wants to settle score with Bertram, his neighbor, he is among villagers wanting to somehow protect him. When Geralt appears he is unwelcome at him but then changes his mind and tells everything he know.
