- Geralt, pg. 163 Blood of Elves (U.S. edition)

The Lixela (Polish: Liksela) is a river which flows through Kaedwen. It winds its way past the town of Ban Ard and the city of Ard Carraigh before finally disappearing in the northern foothills of the Blue Mountains. The Lixela is a branch of the mighty Pontar.

According to Sigismund Dijkstra, Geralt of Rivia parted ways with Triss Merigold in the forest near where the Lixela flows into the Pontar a week after the summit at Loc Muinne.
