Ernst Goltz is commander of the Fallen Knights' reconaissance forces, stationed with a squad in the ruins of castle Zuetzer during the Hearts of Stone Expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. His subordinate, Lewie, was given orders from the Grand Master Ulrich, to the decipher one of the stolen ofieri crafting diagrams.
