Ernest von Everec was a member of the von Everec family and had passed on by the 1270s. When Geralt visited the family's crypt, he was one of several family members to appear as a ghost, demanding to know why Geralt wanted to see Vlodimir. He and the rest ended up attacking the witcher after wrongly assuming Geralt had obtained Everec blood by killing the last living member.
