Big Quote Left
The crystalline clear water of the Ribbon brimmed over the edge of the drop in a smooth, gentle arc, falling in a soughing and frothing cascade among boulders as black as onyx. It broke up on them and vanished in a white foam, from where it split into a wide pool which was so transparent that every pebble and every green strand of waterweed swaying in the current could be seen in the variegated mosaic of the riverbed.

- description of Ceann Treise, pg. 47 Baptism of Fire (U.K. edition)

Ceann Treise is a group of waterfalls on the Brokilon side of the Ribbon river, located in the valley northeast of Seventh Mile.[1]

History[]

In August 1267, Geralt of Rivia and Dandelion stopped here on their way to Verden; the bard marvelling at the "beautiful" waterfall though was not fully ensconced due to multiple days without a proper bed. Not long after, the hunter Milva passed through, following their trail.[1]
