As I'm sure everyone here knows CD Projekt RED has made 2 very amazing games, The Witcher 3, and Cyberpunk 2077. My only question, is why the HELL they had to make BOTH games so sad, I've literally bawled because of both of these games and I'm not ashamed of it because holy hell Projekt RED was trying to pull at some hearts lmao

I’m playing through TW3 again after it being around £7 on Xbox store. This time I’m playing Gwent, which I didn’t understand during my first play through. I’m loving it so far but am basically going around random small time merchants and playing them. I’ve won the barons card and the soothsayers card but my question is: are there any certain cards I should buy/look for to give myself a good footing for taking on some of the bigger players? Or shall I keep doing what I’m doing which is buying/winning random cards from merchants here and there?
Geralt would probably be a mercenary hero with movement 5, weapon skill 8, ballistic skill 6, strength 5, toughness 5, wounds 4, initiative 5, attacks 4 and leadership 8.
Equipment: light armor, a long sword or a magic long sword and may have throwing knives or a crossbow as a sidearm.
Special Rules: always strikes first, Magic resistance (1), immune to psychology
Spells:
Igni: is almost identical to the fireball spell but instead with +1 to cast a range of 8 and D3 strength 4 hits.

In the quest In the heart of woods, Geralt can either choose to help the elder to renew the pact by doing the traditional trial again, or help the youngs to kill the leshen once and for all.
The ancestors formed a contract with the leshen that it will train hunters and warriors to make them stronger than usual, and those who failed the trail die and become tributes.
The elder says the recent deaths caused by the leshen were because of them not following the tradition of hunting with spears and knifes. If Geralt choose to renew the contract, he must offer 5 wolf hearts. While they stand no threat to Geralt, considering the average strength of a normal human warrior, fighting 5 wolves alone with only melee weapons in hand can be dangerous, and this is why the leshen get its tribute continuously through the history.
What made the leshen kill by its own hands is because, presumably, the young started to utilize ranged weapons such as crossbows to cut death rate, breaking the joke tradition and making the leshen to take fewer, if not entirely no, tributes. If this guess is true, then I'm totally sided with the youngs. I guess the secret of the strength of Polish winged hussars is that they were sent into forests by their commanders one-by-one to melee with swarms of wolves alone with primitive spears.
Is it necessary to kill the elder? If it's modern society, I will charge them as murderers, but it's not. In reality, senior citizens with outdated knowledge and obsolete opinions stand no threat to the society, but in such a village, such an elder can lead the entire village to a doom. I don't know if the would-be-killed elder will, but I support those who utilize crossbows in hunting to cut death rate and I disgust those who send youngs to barbarically dangerous trials in the name of tradition.
What was the hardest fighr in w3 for you?
I had this idea in my mind for quite a long time. Depending on the ending in W3, players start off as Empress Cirilla or Witcher Cirilla. First there will be some mini quests (as in the beginning of W3) to get used to new gameplay.
For Witcher Cirilla it’s obviously some monster hunting and playing Gwent (for this I see two possibilities: 1. Upgraded Gwent with some new cool features or smth. 2. A completely new card/board game).
For Empress Cirilla it can be her life in the castle (giving out orders, talking to Emhyr and general Voorhis, horse rides and balls and etc.).
The game can be even more interesting if some political twist happens, like Aen Elle/Northern Kingdoms declare war against Nilfgaard. It can even be the main reason for Ciri’s story to begin. For instance, she can choose on which side to be (like in Witcher 2). I didn’t really think of the story any farther, but surely she sets off for an adventure, meeting Geralt, Triss, Yennefer and others along the way.
Moving on to the locations and realms. As Ciri is known for traveling through different worlds I wish part of the quests would happen in the world of Aen Elle, but also include Novigrad, Skellige and Velen, maybe renovate them in some way. Also I wish they could add Brokilon Forest or Dol Blathanna.
For characters, I wish they could bring back Iorveth and add some more characters from the books, like Milva for instance.
That’s pretty much it, please write in the comments what you imagine Witcher 4 to be like, maybe add something else to my idea, I’d really love to know what you think!
What if we could host our own gwent tournaments after the story is complete? They only recruit the best players from around the world.
Why does Eskel and Lambert have no gwent cards?
Is anyone playing gwent android? I installed it on the first day... The thronebreaker themed gamelplay is really good and all that... But does anyone have matching problems like me?... Like the first 12 -13 games I was matched at an equal level which I won but from then onwards I always get matched with huge levelled players... I mean on the very 3rd day I being level 16 was matched with level 50 and above players and since then I am basically losing every match.. I know this kind of matching is done in clash Royale too but lvl 16 vs lvl50 is just ridiculous... Every card they have are huge game changers.. Now I feel like I am losing the interest...Give me some tips how am I supposed to to win those...?
Does anyone else have this issue where they completed the quests for the Witcher diagrams but somehow missed one or two diagrams but the quest successfully finished anyway?
Is there any way to avoid this in keep having to go back to previous places to get them
