Note: This quest becomes available once you have completed all the quests related to the main quest Hunting a Witch. While this quest is optional, it will allow you to continue the story to choose Keira's fate. Also, you will obtain the magic lamp which will allow you to communicate with any spirits you encounter later in the game.
Enter her little home just north of Midcopse to find Keira communing with some otherworldly being using the magic lamp previously discovered in the quest with the same name. Question Keira to learn more about current events, troubles the Lodge of Sorceresses is facing, and what the deal is with the magic lamp. Getting down to business, Keira will ask Geralt for a small favor: she needs help removing the curse that seems to be hanging over Fyke Isle in the middle of Lake Wyndamer. She says that the curse is supposedly linked to Vserad, the former lord of the area before the Nilfgaardian invasion.
Agree to help and Keira will give Geralt the magic lamp to help him speak with the spirits on the isle to help him identify the source of the curse. Keira will also give the Witcher a Xenovox which will allow her to communicate with him over long distances, similar to a cell phone. She also offers the use of her boat, moored on the shore of the lake to help reach the isle. Finishing the conversation will complete the quest and start the next one, A Towerful of Mice.

- Geralt and Keira's journey to the elven mage's lair had forged a tight bond between them, the kind harrowing life-or-death experiences forge between soldiers at war or students during exam week. And so when it was all over Keira invited Geralt to stop by her hut sometime, in a way that suggested she did not mean for an afternoon of tea and crumpets.
- And indeed she did not - but nor did she mean what you of Geralt surely had in mind. In truth, she had a favor to ask. She wanted Geralt to help her tackle the curse afflicting Fyke Isle.
