Alcoholic beverages

Alcoholic beverages are that subset of Alcohol, weak and medium strength, which cannot be used as potion bases. They are strictly for Geralt's drinking pleasure, giving as gifts, or quest requirements.

Beer is an excellent choice for the many drinking contests in The Witcher. It is far less strong than the hard alcohols, making Geralt's chances of winning much greater.

Some quests require that Geralt find alcohol for someone or bring alcohol somewhere, like to Shani's party.
